Our Pastor

A native of Covington Georgia Pastor Brandon Green was born on January 25, 1980, to the late Charlie Green and Harriet Green. He is the husband of Lady Denielle Green and proud father of three children Micah, Brandee, and Brielle.  He is the eldest brother of Brian and Bradley Green.

Pastor Green is a 2011 graduate of Mercer University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education.
He is an employee of the Newton County School System, where he's a second-grade teacher.

Although passionate about his teaching career, Pastor Green is also very passionate about teaching and preaching the word of God. Pastor Green is a third-generation preacher that excepted Christ as his savior at the tender age of seven. He excepted his call to ministry in 2007 and was licensed to preach in 2008.

Pastor Green was appointed pastor of the O'Kelly Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in September of 2019. He counts it a blessing to serve this great congregation.

Pastor Green loves reading and studying the word of God. His favorite scripture is Matthew 19:26, "but with God all things are possible." Pastor Green's passion is Equipping, Encouraging, and Enhancing the lives of God's people through the word of God.
